Standards Covered
Upon accreditation, BCERT will hold IAF MLA coverage through IAS for the above standards. Certificates issued during the pre-accreditation period are valid management system certificates; they will be re-issued under accreditation upon grant.
Sector Coverage
ISO 9001 Sectors (EA codes)
BCERT's accreditation scope for ISO 9001:2015 is limited to EA Code 33 — Information Technology & Related Activities as confirmed with IAS (Reference IASQ10466).

ISO 27001 Sector Coverage
Per IAF MD 22, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is not restricted by sector or EA code. BCERT may certify organisations in any industry sector for information security management.

- On-site audits available across the United Kingdom, European Union, and internationally

- All certification decisions are made from BCERT's UK registered office
Limitations & Pre-Accreditation Notice
BCERT does not currently hold accreditation. Certification activities are conducted in conformance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015. Certificates issued are valid management system certificates but are not currently covered by IAF MLA until accreditation is granted. Applicants who require an accredited certificate should confirm the accreditation status at time of application.
