Impartiality Policy

BCERT LTD is committed to impartiality in its certification activities. The management of BCERT and its personnel will not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality. BCERT identifies, analyses and documents the possibilities for conflict of interests arising from provision of certification including any conflicts arising from its relationships. This commitment extends to all personnel, internal and external, who could influence certification activities.

Our Commitments

In accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1, BCERT ensures:

Objectivity in decision-making

Certification decisions are made by persons who did not carry out the audit, ensuring separation of audit and decision-making functions.

No conflicts of interest

BCERT does not offer consultancy services. We identify and manage all potential threats to impartiality, including self-interest, familiarity, and intimidation threats.

Independent committee oversight

An Impartiality Committee with representation from key stakeholders reviews BCERT's operations to safeguard impartiality.

Transparent complaints process

Any concerns about impartiality can be raised through our complaints and appeals process.

Impartiality Committee

The committee meets regularly to review potential threats to impartiality and ensure BCERT operates without bias.
